Airbus and Boeing have both set delivery records in 2018 with 800 and 806 aircraft delivered by the European and American airframers respectively. Boeing and United Airlines have announced an order for four more 787-9 airplanes. The order valued at about $1.1 billion as per current list prices, was finalized this year and was listed as unidentified on Boeing’s Orders & Deliveries website. Boeing delivers the first 787-10 to Singapore airlines

Boeing reports record deliveries and backlog in 2017

American airframer Boeing has set a new record for number of aircraft delivered in a year by surpassing it’s 2015 record of 762 deliveries by one. The company also grew it’s order backlog to a record 5,864 aircraft. The order backlog which equates to around seven years of production was spurred by a 35% increase in 737 orders from 550 …

American airframer Boeing and middle-eastern carrier Emirates have announced a $15.1 billion deal to purchase 40 787-10 Dreamliners and related equipment at the opening day of the 2017 Dubai Airshow. American airframer, Boeing has begun final assembly of the 787-10 at it’s North Charleston plant. The 787-10 is a 18 foot stretch of the 787-9. Yunnan based chinese carrier Ruili Airlines announced today at the third day of the 2016 Farnborough International Airshow the finalization of an order for six 787-9 Dreamliners. Air Canada begins non-stop service to Delhi
