Delta orders 50 Airbus A350-900’s and A330neo’s

FAA type certifies Airbus A350-900 with Rolls Royce engines

European airframer Airbus has received type certification from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for it’s newest commercial airliner the A350-900. The certified aircraft is powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines. The latest generation airliner of European airframer Airbus S.A.S. the A350-900 XWB has received its ‘Type Certification’ from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) earlier today. Airbus announces first order for the A350 since launch of the A330neo

Airbus has just announced the first A350 order since the launch of the A330neo. Air Mauritius has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to order four A350-900s. The airline has also announced that it will be leasing two additional A350-900s. The airline currently operates an all Airbus jet fleet including A319s, A330s and A340s.

Air Caraïbes places order for three A350-1000s and will lease a further three A350-900s from ILFC.

Air Caraibes has signed a firm contract with Airbus S.A.S. for three A350-1000s, the largest member of Airbus’ new generation A350XWB Family. The airline will also lease three new A350-900s from ILFC. The aircraft will enter into service between 2016 and 2022.
