Boeing legally delivers first 787-9 Dreamliner to Air New Zealand

Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines has placed an additional order for 15 Airbus A321ceo (current engine option) aircraft starting for delivery in 2018. With its merger with Northwest, Delta inherited a fleet of Airbus aircraft (126 A320 narrow-body family and 32 A330 wide-body). The Indian Navy received the fourth of its ordered eight Boeing P-8I maritime patrol and anti-submarine warfare aircraft. Tail number IN323 has arrived at INS Rajali also known as Arokkanam naval air station, about 55 km west of Chennai. (Map). National carrier Air Canada received the first of its 37 ordered Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners, C-GPHQ. The delivery flight from Paine Field, was met at Toronto’s Pearson airport with the traditional water cannon salute. Kenya Airways takes delivery of first 787 Dreamliner

Kenya Airways has taken delivery of their first 787 Dreamliner. The airplane registered 5Y-KZA departed Paine Field in Everett, Washington, USA for a 7,800 nautical mile (14,456 km) non-stop flight to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at Nairobi, the hub of the airline. Aeroflot’s A320, powered by CFM56 engines, features a two class cabin, seating 158 passengers with right seats in business class and 150 in economy. Air Caraibes has signed a firm contract with Airbus S.A.S. for three A350-1000s, the largest member of Airbus’ new generation A350XWB Family. The airline will also lease three new A350-900s from ILFC. The aircraft will enter into service between 2016 and 2022.
