Singapore Airlines orders more Airbus A380 and A350 aircraft

National carrier, Singapore Airlines (SIA) has announced that it will order 25 more widebody aircraft from Airbus, comprising five A380 super jumbos and 20 A350-900s. Singapore Airline was the launch customer of the A380 in 2007, and has received all of its ordered 19 aircraft. Nippon Cargo Airlines takes delivery of first Boeing 747-8 freighter

Tokyo Narita based Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA), became the first Japanese operator of the 747-8 Freighter. The airline currently operates eight 747-400 Freighters with two 747-400 Freighters on lease with other airlines. Lion Air launch customer of Boeing 737 MAX 9; confirms largest ever commercial plane order for Boeing

Lion Air, Indonesia’s largest private airline, has placed on US airframer Boeing, the largest commercial airplane order ever in Boeing’s history by both dollar value and total number of airplanes.
