High Res Photo: First Thai Airways Airbus A380 enters final assembly

Airbus has commenced the final assembly of the first A380 destined for Thai Airways. The airframe entered the Airbus Final Assembly Line in Toulouse on November 23rd, 2011. Now all the various sections of the airframe will be attached together. Thai will become the ninth operator of the A380 superjumbo when it takes delivery late next year.

Boeing delivers Atlas Air their first 747-8 Freighter meant for British Airways

Yesterday, US airframer Boeing delivered the first 747-8F Freighter to Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. The delivery is the first of nine 747-8Fs ordered by the cargo carrier.
