COMAC C919 completes first flight

The first COMAC (Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China) C919 has successfully completed it’s first flight. The aircraft took off from Shanghai’s Pudong airport and landed back at the airport after a 79 minute flight. CFM LEAP 1-C engine for Comac C919 achieves first flight

CFM International’s LEAP engine achieved its first flight taking off on a modified 747-100 flying testbed at GE Aviation flight test operations in Victorville, California. Siuchan Airlines orders 20 COMAC C919

On October 21st, 2011 , Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC for short) announced an order from Siuchan Airlines for 20 of its narrowbody C919 aircraft.
