British Airways offers free economy plus upgrades on Indian London flights

British Airways has announced a limited time free upgrade offer on all its flights from its five gateways in India (Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai) to London.

Passengers travelling from India with British Airways in World Traveller (economy class) would get an upgraded one-way to the airline’s premium economy World Traveller Plus cabin.

World Traveller Plus is a dedicated cabin of up to 40 seats, in a five row 2-4-2 configuration with wider seats and legroom of 38 inches compared to 31 inches in World Traveller.

British Airways also announced a special fare from all five gateways in India to London Heathrow airport of Rs 40,763 inclusive of taxes, fees and surcharges. Full details on the British Airways website.

This limited period offer is valid till August 31 and outbound travel should take place before October 31, 2009.
