China Eastern cancels Boeing 787 Dreamliner order, goes with Airbus A330s

On October 17, China Eastern Airlines announced that it would be converting its order for 24 Boeing 787s into an order for 45 Boeing 737 narrowbodies, citing extended delivery delays for the 787 program. Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines Announce Additional Orders for the Boeing 777

Earlier this week, Cathay Pacific Airways and Singapore Airlines both announced new orders for Boeing 777s. Turkish Airlines orders ten Airbus A321s passenger and three A330-200F freighters

Turkish Airlines (THY) has signed a firm order with European airframer Airbus S.A.S. for the purchase of ten A321-200s narrow body passenger aircraft and three A330-200F freighter aircraft for delivery from 2012 onwards.
