Singapore Airlines has begun operating its regionally configured Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The airline flew the inaugural flight of the new product from Singapore to Adelaide, Australia.

The aircraft is configured 303 seats with 40 business and 263 economy seats. The product is the same regional product found on the airline’s Boeing 787-10.

The business class features a 1-2-1 layout with 26″ wide flat-bed seats manufactured by Stelia Aerospace.

Economy is in a 3-3-3 layout with seats from Recaro. Each seat has an AVOD IFE screen, USB port and in-seat power supply.

The airline will begin operating this A350 product to Bangalore as a thrice weekly second flight from May 2019. The service will be a significant upgrade over the old 777-200 product that the airline operates to the city.
