Vistara takes delivery of it’s first A320neo

Full service carrier, Vistara has taken delivery of it’s first A320neo (new engine option) at Airbus’ Toulouse plant. The aircraft is the 14th A320 in the carriers fleet and is powered by CFM’s LEAP-1A engines.

The airline has equipped it’s neo with mood lighting, improved seats and a new look across all three of it’s cabins.

Phee Teik Yeoh, CEO, Vistara
“We’re in the aviation business not merely to provide transportation for people, but also to create memorable flying experiences. For today’s discerning air travellers, it is imperative to offer an in-flight experience that pleases all senses. The interior changes in our first A320neo is a manifestation of this thought. We have paid attention to the smallest of details; from the look and feel of our newly designed seats in fine leather upholstery and mood lighting to the aroma of a cup of freshly brewed Starbucks coffee onboard, Vistara ensures delight at every touchpoint.

The A320neo also ensures operational enhancement as well as cost leadership for us, with extra payload capacity, greater fuel efficiency, and improved range, perfectly aligning with our growth strategy”
