Jet Airways cancels Brussels flights for today and tomorrow

India’s Jet Airways which uses Brussels as its scissor hub at Europe has announced cancellation of its flights between Brussels and Mumbai, Delhi and Toronto over the next two days i.e. March 23 and 24.

  • March 23, 2016: Flights from Brussels to Newark, Toronto, Mumbai and Delhi
  • March 23, 2016: Flights from Newark and Toronto to Brussels
  • March 24, 2016: Flights from Mumbai and Delhi to Brussels

This is due to the closure extension, by authorities, of Brussels’ Zaventem airport due to the terrorist bombings yesterday.

Many of the airlines across the world who have faced significant network disruption due to the Brussels airport closure have announced waivers of their cancellation and re-booking fees for their affected passengers.
