Air India and Birmingham airport authorities had a lavish celebration at the Birmingham Airport Holiday Inn to mark the one year anniversary of Air India flights to the city.

    I wouldn’t call that party lavish. For starters it is in Holiday Inn Express. Catered from local Indian/Pakistani restaurant. I would guess Belly Dancer from same place. Local DJ and Bollywood Dance group wouldn’t cost much.

    Was this really necessary? A small office get together + a press statement could be sufficient.(they can practice the $100 x 10 persons) rule followed by most Intl companies for such small events)
