Another edition of the Asian air scene podcast featuring Addison Schonland, Vinay Bhaskara and Devesh Agarwal. We covered the share swap between AirAsia and Malaysia Airlines and what benefits would it offer and what would it take away. In the India scene we covered the suspension of the application of national carrier Air India and the reported fait accompli presented by the Star Alliance to the Government of India, and how this is going to backfire on the alliance’s members. We also covered the slightly delayed, yes again, entry of the 787 Dreamliner in to the Air India fleet, now expected in December 2011.
