Video: Ride a four floor high slide at Singapore Changi airport

Changi airport recently unveiled Singapore’s tallest slide standing at 12 metres (40 feet, 4 storeys) tall, at its Terminal 3. The Slide@T3 is also the world’s tallest slide in an airport.

Changi airport is known for its “ridiculously amazing” activities to indulge transit passengers. The slide joins a movie theatre, a butterfly garden and other nature trails, a Balinese themed roof-top swimming pool and jacuzzi, and the aviation gallery.

While there is a one-and-a-half storey slide located at Basement 2, the main four storey slide is meant to encourage passengers to shop at Changi airport. Entrance to the main slide is only available on a spend of S$30 (approx US$ 22) at Changi airport. There are also some entry requirements Full details are here.

Both slides are only open from 12noon to 10.30pm which means almost all of the traffic originating from India will miss out, but on the inbound to India should be able to participate.
