Spotting humour – Twinkle Twinkle little star in various Indian music styles and accents

A fellow co-founder of the Bangalore Spotters Group is ace photographer Praveen Sundaram better known as Photoyogi.

Being a seasoned photographer, well trained by his famous photographer father, he is able to keep his cool and shoot with a steady hand even in the most strenuous conditions.

This cool however, does not extend to us lesser mortals, and the jovial natured Praveen has a never ending stream of rib-splitting jokes. Somehow, he unintentionally lets one go just a few moments before a plane lands or takes-off, making our spotting life very humorous but yet very difficult, since we are too busy shaking with laughter to take a steady shot.

Two days ago while spotting at the airport we landed up discussing the nuances of the various Indian accents and Praveen kept cracking both Avinash (a.k.a. iPilot777) and me, up with his interpretations. “Bhelcome on phlight won jheero yait. Thees Yairbus yaircraft haas yait exeets. Two in front two in rir, and four woverwing exeets”

As a special treat to Praveen and in thanks for all the shots he has made us miss, here is Revathy Sankaran singing “Twinkle Twinkle little star” in the many Indian accents and song styles.

But all said and done, we love you Prav, and thanks for being our friend.
