Air France has released it’s first official photos of it’s Airbus A380 superjumbo MSN033 registration F-HPJA.

The aircraft is expected to be delivered in late October 2009 and will be deployed on the Paris Charles De Gaulle (CDG) to New York John F Kennedy (JFK) route.

Air France will seat 538 passengers on board their A380 in a three cabin configuration:

  • 80 seats in the Affaires (business) cabin and 106 in Voyageur (economy) on the upper deck;
  • 9 in the Première (first) cabin and 343 in Voyageur (economy) on the main deck.

Services between CDG and JFK will commence in November 2009 and Air France will take delivery of four A380s during the winter 2009 and spring 2010 period.

Air France’s A380s are powered by the Engine Alliance GP7200 engines like those of Emirates. The other two A380 operators, Qantas and Singapore Airlines, use Rolls Royce Trent.
