Jet Airways to integrate hub at Terminal 2 at Mumbai

Jet Airways will shift its domestic operations from March 15, 2016 (late night of March 14, 2016), to Terminal 2 at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) in Mumbai.

Like it already offers at Delhi’s T3, this move will enable Jet Airways to offer integrated domestic and international services within one terminal, drastically reducing connecting times between flights. The minimum connect time (MCT) for domestic to international will be cut from 105 minutes to 75 minutes and for international to domestic to 90 minutes compared to the current two hours. This move will go a long way in strengthen Mumbai as an integrated hub for the airline, much at New Delhi’s T3 at IGI airport is for Air India.

Passengers can enter from Gate 7. Premium cabin passengers can check-in at island ‘P’. Domestic economy class passengers can check-in at island ‘K’ and international at island ‘L’ for international. JetPrivilege Platinum, Gold and Silver elite frequent flyers can check-in at island ‘M’.

Flight 9W628 from Kolkata will be the first to arrive at T2 at 00:10 early morning on March 15th (the night of March 14th). 9W 484 to Kolkata will be the first domestic flight to depart from T2 at 02:25.
