Air France allowing free ticket change ahead of possible strike

Air France is facing a possible employee strike from September 15 to 22. While it continues negotiations with the employee unions, the airline is enabling passengers to postpone their trip or exchange their tickets free of charge.

Passengers can change their travel to outside the potential strike dates i.e. to travel before the 15th or between 23rd and 30th September. No change fee will be applicable, but seats are subject to availability. Alternately, passengers can choose to receive a voucher valid for travel for one year after September 30, 2014 on either Air France or KLM.

Passengers can exercise these choices online at www.airfrance.in and choose “View/modify your booking” section, or on Twitter at @AirfranceFR or at Facebook.com/airfrance. Passengers can also call Air France toll free at 1800 1800 033 or go via your travel agent.

For those passengers who will travel between September 15th and 22nd, Air France has advised passengers to update their contact information in the “view/modify your booking” section on the airline’s website so that the “AF Connect” service can directly inform you of any changes to your trip.
