Delta Air Lines commences New York Zurich and Rome services

As both the US and European economies show cautious recovery, US major, Delta Air Lines will commence new services from its New York John F. Kennedy airport hub to to Zurich Kloten and expanded service to Rome’s Leonardo Da Vinci airport.

The Zurich flight will be operated daily, effective June 16, 2014, using a Boeing 767-300ER aircraft featuring full flat-bed seats with direct aisle access in the BusinessElite cabin. Delta already operates a daily service to Zurich from its main hub at Atlanta. The Rome service will operate daily from April to October on an Airbus A330-300 aircraft, and then five times per week in November, December and March on a Boeing 767-300ER aircraft in conjunction with Delta joint venture partner Alitalia.

The New York JFK to Zurich schedule is

The New York JFK to Rome schedule is:

DL 245 Rome at 12:50 p.m. New York-JFK at 4:46 p.m.

Effective this winter, Delta will increase its flights to Paris and Amsterdam from Atlanta, adding another daily nonstop service for a total of four daily flights to both Amsterdam and Paris, timed to provide customers with more connecting opportunities to destinations throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The additional flight to Paris is scheduled as
