Video: Yuvraj Singh’s IPL price can feed 15,000 mouths for a month

In the ongoing auction of the Indian Premier League (IPL) players, Vijay Mallya promoted Royal Challengers of Bangalore (RCB) paid the highest ever price for a cricket player shelling out a whopping Rs. 140 million on Yuvraj Singh for just one season of play.

In this video aggrieved former employees of the defunct Kingfisher Airlines compared the high price for one cricket player with the employees of the airline. With Rs.14 Crore, Mallya can pay one month’s salary to 3,000 former employees of the airlines who can in turn feed their families. He can allay the troubles of 15000 people with that money but he chooses to go on a splurge and buy Yuvraj Singh, they lamented.
